Celebrated for a bold, vibrant modernism that sets him apart from his peers, his distinctive style is instantly recognisable and affirmed by a wide range of collectors and curators.His art has been showcased at prestigious venues and events including Anantara Villa Padierna Palace in Marbella, the Principality of Monaco and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. He was named Best Artist of the West Country by ING Discerning Eye, triumphing over Royal Academy artists.Vaillant’s work is held in diverse collections; Liverpool Cathedral acquired his piece ‘Praise’, which hangs alongside works by Tracey Emin and Dame Elisabeth Frink. The BBC also commissioned him for Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant, placing his work in the company of Sir David Hockney.Currently Peter is pursuing a PhD in Fine Art, continuing to expand his contribution to contemporary abstraction.
