Custom Rod and Reel Combos – Shimano TLD50IILRSA two speed reels paired with our Custom 5’6″ Standup Rods The Shimano TLD-50IILRSA two speed reels feature a new frame material composition resulting in less breakage under extreme conditions and new handle grips for a more ergonomic feel. And they’ve only gotten better looking, with the increased durability of gold on the crossbar and side plate and reduced gaps between side plate and frame, along with a chrome plated brass handle shank, line guard and harness lugs for enhanced durability. Our Custom Slick Butt Series stand up rods are 5’ 6” overall and built on a solid fiberglass blank for extreme durability and lifting power. The blank runs all the way through the hard slick butt, which allows anglers to easily slide the rod form the holder under pressure. Our Slick Butt Series are also build with a heavy duty aluminum gimbal, Aftco roller stripper and tip guides with ringed turbo style guides between them. All guides are double-under and double-over wrapped for many years of flawless performance. Like all of our custom rods, our Custom ST Series stand up rods are built to last season after season. Designed to meet both function and form, our ST Series rods are constructed with E-Glass blanks, Aftco HD Series roller guides throughout, 14″ EVA foregrips and detachable aluminum straight butts for longevity and easier storage. All guides are double-under, then double-over wrapped with the highest quality threads and epoxies for many years or reliable use.
