Rated at 80-130lb class tackle, these rods will accept most reels from size 30 up to an 80W. These rods are strictly for  stand-up style fishing with a belt and harness. Fighting fish from the rod holder will void all warrantees. The Fisherman’s Outfitter Stubbie Rods are built with gloss black, solid fiberglass blank for ultimate lifting power and durability. These rods are designed to lift behemoths from the depths. Whether you’re targeting Giant Tuna or Grander Marlin and record sharks. Featuring Black Anodized, AFTCO Wind-On roller guides and Black Anodized removable aluminum butts.  All rods are double under-wrapped and triple over-wrapped.  These guides will handle lines from 30lb to Unlimited line class, and they have the same knot clearance as Aftco Big Foot guides, but in a more compact frame. They will easily handle bulky wind-on leaders up to 700-lb. test. Our custom crafted rods can be designed and produced to your individual specifications.
