Universal CRL – Sash Storm Window Frame

$ 95.62
Product Overview The Most Popular Retrofit Storm Window System Better Than Magnetics, Sturdier Than Vinyl No Adhesive Required to Hold Glass or Acrylic Panels CRL-Sash Universal Storm Window Frame is the quality made, all-in-one glass framing material for the fabrication of secure, high-performance storm window and door panels. The frame accepts single or double strength glass or acrylic up to 1/8″ (3 mm) thick, which makes it perfect for interior or exterior recessed or surface mounted panels. Pre-installed vinyl gasket holds the glass or acrylic, eliminating the need for messy adhesives used with most other types of storm window frames. Built-in pile weatherstripping helps eliminate air infiltration between the secured panel and the window frame. A roll-formed aluminum body gives the frame rigidity while allowing the panel to remain lightweight enough to install and remove seasonally. Two Ways to Fabricate Miter Cut Fabrication Miter cut fabrication is accomplished by miter cutting the frame to the desired width and height. Next insert Cat. No. 1795 Corners and wrap the frame around the glass or acrylic panel. Then use Cat. No. S1936 Tool to crimp the frame onto the dimples in the corners to provide a tight fit. Square Cut Fabrication Square cut fabrication is accomplished by simply square cutting the frame 1-7/16″ (36.5 mm) less than the desired width and height of the frame. Next insert the Square Sash Corners, wrap the frame around the glass or acrylic panel and the fabrication is complete. CRL-Sash Universal Storm Window Frame comes in 12′-2″ (3.66 m) lengths. In order for this material to shipped via UPS it must be cut at 96″ (2.44 m). Product Warning: Stock lengths must ship common carrier unless specifically cut for UPS shipment. Most shipping weights are approximate and have not been verified. If the exact weight is needed in order to determine shipping costs, and shipping costs are required in order for you to complete your order, please request this prior to submitting your order by contacting CRL Customer Service.
